- CSU’s Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) provides access and retention services for historically low income and educationally disadvantaged students. Students must demonstrate academic potential, motivation to succeed, and meet the income criteria. Services may vary by campus. The EOP program is designed to provide admissions, academic and financial support through ongoing advising, tutoring, mentoring and workshops designed to increase retention and graduation rates. EOP also offers a summer program that supports students high school to college transition success.
- CSU Honors Programs - Provides a rigorous environment of learning and leadership development for motivated students. Honors programs include: Smaller class sizes, interdisciplinary learning experiences, co-curricular activities and field trips, along with independent or capstone research. *The honors program creates a community that helps students develop leadership, intellectual skills and challenges students to grow socially, culturally and professionally. Honors programs may offer scholarships and specialized courses.
